Leadership Skills Development

Leadership Dimensions:

This event explores the challenges we face when managing people in difficult changing times and how to best maximise engagement and performance.

Some of the insights have been drawn from How to Succeed With People by Paul McGee, one of the UK’s leading speakers on the subject of change.

By participating in this event you will look at:

  • The six main responses to change and how to deal with them.
  • The seven C’s to Thrive model which helps identify seven critical factors that are crucial to help people thrive and flourish in the workplace. You will complete a questionnaire during the workshop to identify both the positive areas that you need to sustain in order to engage people, as well as identify areas for development.
  • Why managers and leaders need to wear different hats and play different roles to get the best from their people. This challenges the ‘one size fits all’ approach to leadership and raises awareness of the need to behave differently in different situations with different people.

This event is particularly useful for managers and team leaders whose role involves managing people and maximising performance in times of change.

Paul’s previous SUMO workshops have been well-received by our participants and feedback includes:

“Absolutely fantastic. Practical tools to actually use!”

“Paul was amazing. I loved hearing his stories, they allowed me to put the things I have learned into perspective”

“One of the best NELA events I have attended. I feel motivated and have specific actions I am going to do to change stuff at work and home”

“Superb session – will take back much of the principles outlined to my workplace and personal life”

“Wonderful, passionate, engaging presenter”
