Reconnect with Mentoring

“Mentoring is a rich source of self-learning and personal growth. It offers {the mentor} the opportunity to make a tangible difference to the success of others” (Julie Starr, The Mentoring Manual)

Mentoring is a key tool in supporting the development of our workforce. In June 2021 we launched MentorNet as way to link mentors and mentees. This session is open to registered mentors, and those who are keen to offer support but need to understand more or are concerned their knowledge is rusty or opportunities to mentor have been limited.

If you have previously completed ILM5 you will have explored aspects of the different tools and approaches, but may be feeling uncertain about stepping into this role. Joining this session will help you

• Refresh your understanding of what mentoring is and isn’t

• Refresh the key skills around listening and collaboration

• Feel able to support future or current mentees to feel supported and valued

Joining Instructions including a Zoom/Teams link will be sent to attendee's 1 week prior to event - Please check your Junk/Spam folders.
