Host Biography

Julie Neethling works for the Chief Allied Health Professions Officer (CAHPO), which is the third largest workforce in the NHS, covering 14 Allied Health Professions, based in the National Medical Directorate.

My passion is in supporting staff whilst at work. I have been fortunate to be part of our set up of staff networks, and see introduction of new areas, such as the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion work.

After completing an 8 week (MBSR) Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course, this stirred my love of Mindfulness, and I further completed a foundation teacher training course on (MBCT) Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy.

Our Lunch and Learn sessions will offer sociable, collaborative alternative to traditional classroom based learning, The sessions are a great way to foster a culture of learning and knowledge, encouraging growth and strengthening ties across the region which will enable us to build a stronger work culture in the NHS.
