The NHS Leadership Academy North East is planning a Placement Engagement Event for the Graduate Management Training Scheme (GMTS) on 1st February 2019, 12.00pm-4.30pm at The Lancastrian Suite, Gateshead, NE11 9JR.

This event is aimed anyone who may be interested in hosting one of our 2019 Graduate Trainees. This includes any past, current or potential Programme and Placement Managers, and anyone else involved in applying to host a trainee.

The main focus of the event will be an exploration of the application process, including the requirements for creating a successful Statement of Commitment (SOC) document.

However, we will also be using this opportunity to build on networking links amongst GMTS Programme and Placement Managers - in order to improve communication and encourage mutual learning and support between managers in the region.
