Building your Resilience

The sessions are aimed at anyone working within the NHS who is interested in looking at their own personal resilience and developing strategies and habits to build resilience in themselves (and others)

Introduction

Resilience refers to an individual’s capacity to adapt positively to pressure, setbacks and challenges and maintain performance, effectiveness and well-being. Personal resilience is key to supporting individuals to deal with the range of workplace and life challenges they may experience whilst also maintaining their well-being and level of functioning.

Workshop Aims

  • Develop awareness of “resilience habits”
  • Develop self-awareness relating to resilience behaviours and responses
  • Explore a range of resilience tips and tools
  • Support individuals in identifying actions they can take to strengthen their personal resilience
