Leadership Dimensions:

This workshop looks at what resilience is and how you can build it within yourself.

The session provides a practical and thought provoking look at what resilience and happiness are, and considers ways to focus on them so you can get more of what you want from your workplace. It is a personal exploration of your own resilience, and is geared towards raising awareness of activities you can work on independently in the future.

The event is of particular interest to anyone working within the NHS who is interested in looking at their own personal resilience, and developing strategies and habits to build resilience in themselves (and others).

By participating in this event you will:

  • Understand resilience and what it means to individuals
  • Reflect on the concept of attitude at the heart of resilience
  • Begin the process of building your mind-set for resilience
  • Work on your attention, awareness & focus - noticing the impact of thoughts, emotions and feelings
  • Spend time experiencing a ‘Pick and Mix ‘ of activities to build resilience
  • Plan ways to turn these activities into habits

Please note that pre-work is required: please complete and bring with you the i-resilience report by following the link below which you will find here.
