In today’s complex and interdependent world does anyone really work alone? For most of us, if we want to deliver results then other people are involved. And as we all know, working with others can be either a source of joy and results or misery and frustration. In fact, according to motivational public speaker and self-development author Brian Tracy, 85% of the joy we have in life comes from our interactions with other people – and so do 85% of our difficulties.

Real diversity within a team is absolutely essential for success – but when not understood diversity can be the greatest pitfall. When it comes to working with others, individuals are often thrown together into ‘teams’ without any real understanding of team dynamics. This leads to frustration, conflict and teams who neither understand nor trust one another.   

How a team interact and connect is absolutely critical to its success. There are three fundamental components of a high performance team: Potential, Connection and Reason

This session focuses on Connection. Assuming you have the right people on the bus and you know where you are going – how can you get them to really connect and work together as a high performance team?
